暨首届周文中国际音乐学术研讨会通告
周文中先生为世界著名作曲家、教育家及社会活动家，对中国当代音乐创作、音乐教育、文化传播之建设具有深刻的历史影响。2016年在det365娱乐官网登录,公海彩船彩票,星空体育在线登录师生们翘首跂踵下，先生与我校签订捐赠藏书及珍贵资料的协议。遵循先生意愿，我校于2018年成立“周文中音乐研究中心”。中心建设以传承传播先生学术思想及音乐教育理念为宗旨，以收藏保护先生捐赠书稿、推动其音乐作品研究为己任，为音乐家提供思考、学习、想象之空间，共同感受先生学术、艺术、人格之魅力，铸造一方学术之净土。周文中音乐研究中心的成立在中国音乐教育发展历程中具有重要的历史意义。
兹定于11月28日-29日在det365娱乐官网登录,公海彩船彩票,星空体育在线登录广州大学城校区举办“周文中音乐研究中心成立仪式暨首届周文中国际音乐学术研讨会”，届时将举办多场学术研讨会及音乐会，我们诚邀海内外各方音乐家与学者踊跃参会，共襄学术盛事，共谋中国当代音乐的美好未来！

The Announcement for the Chou Wen-Chung Music Research Center
Opening Ceremony & International Music Symposium

As a world-renowned composer, educator, and social activist, Professor Chou Wen-Chung has had a profound influence on the development of contemporary music, music education, and cultural exchange in China. In 2016, an agreement to donate Professor Chou’s valuable collections was signed to great enthusiasm from the teachers and students of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In accordance with Professor Chou’s wishes, the Conservatory will establish the "Chou Wen-Chung Music Research Center" in 2018.
Inheriting Professor Chou’s academic and educational philosophies, the Center's main purpose will be to preserve Professor Chou’s donations and promote the analysis of his compositions, while providing a place for musicians to think, learn, and be inspired. We will all be able to gather in this environment to share Professor Chou’s academic, artistic, and personal qualities. The establishment of the Chou Wen-Chung Music Research Center will have an important historical significance in the development of Chinese music education.
The Opening Ceremony of the Chou Wen-Chung Music Research Center and the 1st Chou Wen-Chung International Music Symposium will be held on November 28th and 29th, 2018, at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou University Mega Center Campus. Several academic seminars and concerts will take place during this two-day event. We cordially invite musicians and scholars from all over the world to participate in the conference and academic events to create a bright future for Chinese contemporary music!
